First August blog post and Friday Round-Up

Hello friends!

I know I say this every month, but I can't believe it is August! I am so excited for this month - we get to spend a weekend with my parents, brothers, and sister-in-laws in Frankenmuth, Michigan, we get to move our daughter in for her sophomore year of college, and we celebrate our 25th anniversary. So many good things!

Another great thing is the craft in this blog post - cute enough to be a decoration that you put out year after year, but easy enough to be a fun afternoon activity for you and your kids.

Paper Garland Popsicle Craft Blog

This craft uses supplies you probably already have in your house to create a lovely decoration you can use all summer long - maybe even year after year! The perfect way to practice the medial /s/ sound and get some AC time in the midst of fun summer activities. Also the perfect accompaniment to a summer treat on a stick - check it out here:

You know I also have a fun game to go with this - and this one is my favorite type of game play. In Guess Which Popsicle, players take turns choosing a secret popsicle or asking yes/no questions to guess the secret popsicle, all while practicing the medial /s/ sound. A great way to spend a break at the pool or in the AC this summer - check it out here:

Friday Instagram Round Up

This week I was back to posting regularly - I am feeling much better, so it has been fun to catch back up. My themes in my groups this week were Ancient Egypt and, as you already know, Popsicles!

  • Motivation Monday was a quote about embracing ALL of your emotions - you can check it out here:
  • Tip Tuesday was a tip about the vocalic EAR sound in Pyramid - you can check it out here:
  • Crafty Wednesday was a video of the Paper Popsicle Garland in action - check it out here:
  • Tongue Twister Thursday features a lot of /s/ alliteration and sarcophagi - check it out here:

That brings us to today - and you know that the blog is always on instagram on Fridays. You can just click the links above to get to that!

The last thing I have for you this week is an offer to get into the Mastermind I have been in for the past year. The amount of growth and change to my business and income has been great - and I owe most of it to the amazing women I have worked with as part of the Confident and Ambitious Mastermind.

If you are a female entrepreneur and you want to take your business to the next level this year, I can't recommend Lindsay and her Mastermind enough. Now that she has added a 6 month option, I think it is accessible to almost anyone to get the support your need to really shine in business. You can check it out here:

That's all I have for you today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend full of sweet treats on a stick - excuse me while I look at the Yelloh menu - iykyk ;)

I'll be back next week with a Paper Plate Hummingbird Craft and a Race to the Hummingbird Feeder Game. Can't wait to touch base then!

Sincerely,

Autumn

Hi friends! I am taking time off this week to attend a business retreat and do some Disney, but that has made my day job schedule completely crazy. I promise it will still be out before Halloween next week so you can make these adorable Jack-o-Lanterns and practice the J sound with your kiddos. I promise the...
